An area favorite and tradition, Christmas Town at Busch Gardens plans to grace the Tampa area with daily festive cheer from November 20 to January 3.
About Christmas Town
Voted into USA Today’s 10 Best Theme Park Holiday Events, Christmas Town is Busch Gardens transformed into a whimsical, cozy winter wonderland. From tasty holiday treats at the Town Village to riveting roller coaster rides in the dark, this event is perfect for all ages and any interest. This festive wonderland includes holiday shopping, dining and even shows such as ice skating or the dazzling vocal display that is Three Kings Journey.
Christmas Town is known for its beautiful Christmas lights that span throughout the 335-acre park. The event website states, “Journey through our awe-inspiring light tunnel connecting the Congo and Stanleyville areas or make new friends with princesses in Morocco and the Bird Gardens.”

The park will also host a firework display on select evenings at the Festival Field synced to everyone’s favorite classic holiday songs.
Can’t wait until November 20? Busch Gardens is offering a preview to eager guests on November 14 and 15. During this weekend, you can get a sneak peak of the festival with light displays and “select entertainment elements,” according to the website.
Open nearly daily during the month of December at 10 am, Christmas Town is included with a Busch Gardens daily admission, fun cards and annual passes.
Guests must schedule a reservation for their desired time of visit in order to allow the park to comply with COVID-19 protocols. Prior to admittance, guests will be temperature screened, required to wear masks (when not eating, drinking or in a designated “relaxation area” of the park) and asked to maintain social distancing from guests outside of your accompanying group.
