Make the Season Sparkle at Home

From Brandpoint Content

Your holiday celebrations will look a little different this year, as you’ll most likely be enjoying the season with your closest loved ones at home. But no matter how you mark the holiday season, there’s no reason your festivities have to be any less cheerful, glamorous or just plain fun!

Here are some ways to add a little more sparkle to your holidays at home.

Dress up – even if there’s just two of you

No matter the size of your home celebrations, you can make any occasion feel more merry and bright by getting all dolled up. With some of your finer outfits collecting dust in your closet, it’s time to break out your most fabulous and glitzy party attire, with as much bling as you can add, to create an extra special event.

Tune up your tablescape

Any holiday experience is as much about the ambiance you create as the occasion itself. Serve your appetizers or meal on the most beautiful dishes you’ve got, and polish up the fanciest glassware to toast in style as you enjoy the holiday or ring in the New Year. Set the table with care to make it Instagram or Facebook-worthy, and pipe in all your favorite holiday tunes.

Craft some sparkling cocktails

An effervescent cocktail can transform any holiday into a grand event, so this is the perfect opportunity to go the extra mile and try something new. Make sure to stock up on everything you need ahead of time, so you’ll be ready to enjoy these three simple but exciting seasonal sips.

Nino Franco 1919

Go for the gold with Nino Franco Rustico sparkling wine. This simple to make yet visually stunning cocktail will even impress your guests via Zoom.

Rim the coupe glass (or martini glass) with edible gold sugar. Fill with Nino Franco Rustico Prosecco. Float a small piece of edible gold leaf in the glass and enjoy!

Kir Royale

This classic French cocktail can be made with either champagne or prosecco, and is served in a flute for that elegant touch.

  • 1/2 ounce creme de cassis
  • 5 ounces Giuliana Prosecco
  • Fresh berries for garnish

In a flute, combine the creme de cassis and Giuliana Prosecco. Garnish with fresh berries and serve.

Riondo’s Pomegranate and Blood Orange Bellini

Take a second to enjoy a winter cocktail that will ease the burden of gift wrapping. The color of the blood orange gives this drink a warm, cheerful glow.

  • 3 ounces Riondo Prosecco
  • 2 ounces pomegranate juice
  • 1 ounce fresh blood orange juice
  • 1 teaspoon simple syrup
  • Ice

Add pomegranate juice, blood orange juice and simple syrup to a 10-ounce glass and fill with ice. Stir together with a spoon to combine. Top glass off with prosecco and garnish with an orange wheel.

Simply sparkle

Cocktails seem a bit too involved? You can enjoy simple yet delightfully sparkly toasts to your loved ones with glasses of chilled Giuliana Prosecco, an elegant sparkling wine inspired by restaurateur, curator, entertainment host and best-selling author Giuliana Rancic.

Keep the festivities going

As much of the world awaits the conclusion of 2020, this New Year’s Eve will offer an opportunity to reflect, reset and look forward. Let’s keep creating special moment well beyond the holidays, and with the arrival of Riondo Prosecco Rose 2020 DOC on January 1, there will be plenty of reasons to raise a glass.

Wine lovers will no longer have to choose between Prosecco’s effervescent bubbles and the charming pink hues of the fruity flavors of rose. The best of both worlds will beautifully co-exist in one bottle when Prosecco Rose DOC makes its official debut in 2021. This new “pink Prosecco” will help you keep the celebrations going well in the New Year.
